Please join us for an evening of live entertainment. The international human rights day event is a wonderful occasion to celebrate human rights work happening on the ground in Salt Lake City. This unconventional holiday party will serve up an array of delicious nouveau cuisine and multicultural entertainment among others with dancers from Nepal, a champion Native American Hoop Dancer Patrick Willie and a special performance by Monika Jalili with songs of love and hope from Iran. The Human Rights Award will be presented by the Salt Lake City Human Rights Commission.

I am sure that many in or community would have liked to come to this gathering, especially at this time of appalling divisiveness in the country. Unfortunately, I had not heard of it before now, and with only two days’ notice I can’t change other commitments. But I wish you every success.
