Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council Meeting. August 18th at 6:30 will be our monthly Zoom Council Meeting. We have a great guest speaker coming to inform us about preparing your home for an earthquake. For the past 38 years Grant Willis has worked for the Utah Geological Survey in the Department of Natural Resources. He is on a mission to teach people how to survive an earthquake, especially regarding unreinforced masonry buildings (often called “URMs”), and other interesting information preparing for an earthquake.
