Instagram challenge: Washington currently uses their Trust Land money to pay Kindergarten Aides and Academic Interventionists. They are in an instagram challenge to get $1,000 from SITLA that will go toward continuing Tanner Dance at school. The dance class is taught by a resident of the Marmalade, Ashley Anderson, whose oldest son attends the school.

Community Garden: Washington received a scholarship from Wasatch Community Gardens to make a garden behind the school. Volunteers are needed to help: painting signs and priming a mural area, clearing weeds & debris, laying weed barrier and gravel, as well as bringing water or snacks. . The garden will be part of a larger beautification project behind the school that will improve our community and community beds will eventually be available in the summer.
