No Council Meeting in July – See You on August 21st

The Board and Trustees of Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council voted to not hold a July meeting. Our next Council meeting will be Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 6:30 PM in the Copper Room in the East Capitol Building. We hope to see you then.

  1. Thanks for gtting back to me. I called Mr. Clow and he explained that this is a primary and that all three of the candidates will be at the Sweet Library on Aug 7th and 7pm. This is the GACC meeting, and I plan to go there to get a sense on who to vote for. The top two will have a runoff in November. I am not sure if there is a rule that states if one person gets a certain percentage, then they win the election and do not go to a runoff.

    I suggest that you share this info with others in the CHNC, since we will not be meeting until after the primary.

      Thanks Neal. I appreciate this information. I’ll get it out in an email blast so that folks on Capitol Hill can attend if they wish. I spoke with our Board last week. We have decided to invite the two candidates (after the primary election) to our September meeting. We’ll have each speak briefly about their qualifications. Thanks again.
