600 North over I-15 & UPRR Bridge Deck Preservation

Project description: The project includes installation of a polyester concrete bridge deck overlay on the 600 North bridges over I-15 and the Union Pacific Railroad. Associated work includes reconstruction of pedestrian ramps, signal head adjustments and re-striping. 


600 North over I-15 

Friday (6/18) – Monday (6/21), 10 p.m. to at 5 a.m.: 600 North over I-15 will be closed to all traffic, except for EMS. Please take alternative routes to I-15. 

The northbound 600 North exit ramp will be open for eastbound traffic. The southbound 600 North exit will be open for westbound traffic. 

Wide load restrictions do not apply. 

Friday (6/25) – (6/28), 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: 600 North over I-15 will be closed to all traffic, except for EMS. Please take alternative routes to I-15. 

The northbound 600 North exit ramp will be open for eastbound traffic. The southbound 600 North exit will be open for westbound traffic. 

Wide load restrictions do not apply. 


Railroad Bridge Deck Preservation 

Nightly closures starting at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday (6/14) through Friday (6/18): only one east and westbound lane will be open on the UPRR bridge. 

Friday (6/18) – Monday (6/21), 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – only one east and westbound lane will be open on the UPRR bridge. Note that 600 North over I-15 will be closed in all directions. Please take alternative routes to I-15. 


Interstate 15 

One northbound lane will be closed starting June 23rd through the June 29th

Date and time for lane closures include: 

• Wednesday (6/23) – Thursday (6/24): 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. 

• Friday (6/25) – Saturday (6/26): 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

• Monday (6/28) – Tuesday (6/29): 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
