Michael Measom (current director overseeing elections this year) and the entire CHNC Board of Directors encourage all interested parties to apply for the board positions that are open for 2014.

There are seven positions open on the Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council Board of Directors for 2014. The open positions are for both 1 year and 2 year terms. Each position will be voted on at the November Council meeting (Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 6:30 PM) where all residents can vote for the Council’s Board of Directors.

Applications are due no later than the end of the Council meeting in October (Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 8:00 PM). Applications can be hand-delivered to any current Council Board member, emailed, or mailed. See below for those addresses. Click here for Application: Application BofD

The qualifications for a CHNC Board member are: 1) you must be a member of the Council (residents, business owners, or property owners who own property in our area) and, 2) you must be at least 18 years of age. The application and attachments (resume or vita) are for identification purposes and to verify Council membership as defined above.
