As we are still having quite noticeable aftershocks, and as the epicenter appears to be shifting eastwards towards downtown, is this not a little premature? I don’t want to be on record as reporting “no damage” after the 5.7, because there is no detectable structural damage right now, and then have insurance problems later if a subsequent lower-magnitude event results in serious problems which had either been concealed or latent.

Hi Richard, I feel the same. And no sooner had I posted a reminder of the scheduled Earthquake Damage Assessment Survey but, guess what? A 4.1! Ugh!
