DO NOT FORGET! November’s meeting has been moved to November 14, 2012 to give everyone a little space before Thanksgiving. There is no meeting in December. When you attend the January meeting, you will be greeted by our new chair, Richard Starley, and our new vice chairs, Polly Hart and Melanie Fitzwilliam. The time and location will be the same as far as I know—the Copper Room at the State Senate Building at 6:30 pm, January 16, 2013! We do not as yet have new trustees for the Capitol area (the west side), Washington School, and West High. Richard made a good point when he preferred to appoint new representatives from these areas who have been able to attend the meetings and are familiar with their area. Eventually we need to have a trustee for each area, then as in the past, our regular meetings and trustee meetings will be open to everyone. My favorite greeting this time of the year is to all of you…a delicious Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Lovely Kwanza, Festive New Year, and to all in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood; all the best in 2013!
