Sites for four new homeless resource centers in SLC to be announced Tuesday

On Tuesday, December 13th at 1:00pm, Mayor Jackie Biskupski and the City Council will announce the sites for four new homeless resource centers to be located in Salt Lake City.

The four resource centers will be designed to provide comprehensive services for people experiencing homelessness–including mental health and substance abuse treatment, job skills training, and more. The site selections come after a thorough two-year process to determine sites in Salt Lake City to best accommodate Salt Lake County’s new homeless service model. The ultimate goal of this holistic model is to move people from homelessness to housing with the strongest opportunities for success.

Following the announcement, a robust public engagement process will follow, including three initial public workshops at the Public Safety Building on January 11th from 1-3:00pm, 6-8:00pm, and January 18th from 6-8:00pm.
