Bring in spring at this unique community thing! ——— Updates:Updates of By-lawsRead updates of By-laws (here) and Conflicts of Interest (here) Committee Updates:The Infrastructure and Planning Committee UpdatesThe Infrastructure and Planning Committee reviews and responds to proposed developments in the Capitol Hill area. The committee recently reviewed a proposed 4-unit condominium at 361 Reed Ave. We successfully got the developer to modify the design so that there will be windows facing the street which were absent in the original proposal. The committee is currently reviewing a proposal for a 14-unit development to be accessed from West Capitol Street. Since a similar project was recently approved on West Capitol, the committee has concerns about the ability of West Capitol Street to handle the additional traffic and parking, as well as the capacity of the storm drain system to handle the additional runoff. The I&P committee is meeting March 27 to review this proposal. Comments from all Council members are welcome. ——— Calendar PostingsSee the CHNC online calendar, here March 28 (Wed), 5:30-7:30p @Natural History Museum — SLC Foothills Trails System Plan Open HouseMarch 31 (Sat), 11-3pm — Warm Springs Spring FlingApril 2 (Mon), 6-8p @Sweet Library — SLC Foothills Trails System Plan Open HouseApril 2 (Mon), 6:30p @ Jex Conference Room, Marmalade Library — CHNC Board MeetingApril 11 (Wed), 11:30-1p @ Sorenson Multi-Cultural Center — Coffee w a CopApril 18 (Wed), 6:30p @ Multipurpose Room, Marmalade Library — CHNC Council Meeting
