Matt Musgrave, the developer interested in putting up an apartment building on the old Hansen’s Garage site located on the northeast corner of 200 North and 200 West, is meeting with interested neighbors at Erlinda Davis’ home at 270 North Quince Street, at 4:00 PM, Thursday April 25. I don’t think u should have meetings other than neighborhood council meetings. I don’t care how long they have to wait. It makes u look like u r trying to slip one over on them!!

The Neighborhood Council asked Erlinda, at the January meeting, to keep in touch with Matt and to hold this meeting in her neighborhood, as part of her neighborhood trustee responsibilities, at Matt’s convenience, if I recall correctly. We’d love to see you there, if you’re interested. It’s purely an informational meeting for the neighbors and anyone else who would like to attend. I’m sure Erlinda intends to report back to the council at the May meeting. We posted the notice for the meeting here in The Bulletin to make everyone aware of it.

In the future many of the neighborhood residents would appreciate a notice via mail. As I am sure you are aware the majority of the neighborhood is either unaware of this Bulletin or does not have a consistent means of accessing the internet.
Does Ms. Davis have Minutes of meeting on the 25th?
As the owner of the adjacent property I am very interested in Mr. Musgrave’s plans.

I’m sorry you weren’t notified of the meeting sooner, especially as you live right next door to the proposed construction. We really didn’t know about the meeting ourselves until the day before, and I don’t think we could have made it into the mail any earlier.
Erlinda Davis is the neighborhood trustee who held the meeting in her home on Thursday afternoon. She can be reached by phone at 801-531-1964, and I’m sure she would be happy to go over the meeting in detail with you.
As for me, I intend to post a brief article with photos of Matt Musgrave’s plans for the property here on the bulletin later this week. I would like very much to talk with you about your reaction to his proposal. Thanks very much for your comment.
