April News & Notices, Updates & Interests

BE HEARD!

Bishop Place Public Hearing, next Wednesday, April 11 at 2:00 pm at the City-County building. The hearing is before a 3-person panel that will rule on the developer’s request to demolish the buildings based on financial hardship. Several people believe that the developer allowed the property to degrade on purpose, creating the “financial hardship” himself. Historic Landmark Commission rules explicitly state that doing so disqualifies a developer from receiving demolition approval.

IF YOU CAN’T ATTEND: Please consider attending and speaking at the hearing and/or writing a letter yourselves.
