SLC Wants Your Input on Community Needs

Housing & Neighborhood Development (HAND) General Needs Hearing

Salt Lake City  Housing and Neighborhood Development will be hosting a General Needs Hearing to gather input on the needs of the community. Feedback from this meeting will be used to help the citizen advisory board,

The Mayor and the Salt Lake City Council prioritize and recommend funding for proposed activities supported with federal funds. These federal grants help to support projects such as homeownership, housing improvements, parks, streets, sidewalk improvements, refugee services, early childhood education, and more.

The General Needs Hearing will be hosted on December 5th at 5pm in Room 118 in the Salt Lake City and County Building (451 South State Street).

Residents who are unable to attend can submit written comments to Jennifer Schumann, Housing and Neighborhood Development, 451 S. State St., P.O. Box 145488, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84114; or emailed to jennifer.schumann@slcgov.com.

Comments must be received by 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 and should be limited to the general needs of residents.
